Subject: Unlocking Leadership Potential Through Equine-Assisted Coaching

I wanted to share an exceptional team coaching experience that could profoundly benefit your team. Recently, I had the privilege of participating in an equine-assisted leadership workshop facilitated by Faye Goodwin. This innovative approach used interactions with horses to uncover deeper insights about ourselves, our team dynamics, and our leadership potential.

The process was transformation. Working with the horses helped us better understand our strengths as leaders and highlighted areas for growth—both as individuals and as a team. It wasn’t just about identifying issues; it was about creating awareness and facilitating meaningful change.

The hands-on nature of this experience allowed us to connect with core leadership principles in a unique and powerful way. Team members walked away feeling inspired, equipped with actionable insights, and more connected to each other.

If you’re looking to take your team’s collaboration, leadership skills, and self-awareness to the next level, I highly recommend this approach. Faye’s ability to guide the process with clarity, empathy, and expertise was remarkable.

Let me know if you’d like more information about how this could benefit your organization!

"Faye Goodwin’s equine-assisted coaching is nothing short of transformation. Her skilful facilitation unlocked leadership potential within our team and revealed areas for growth we hadn’t even considered. The experience created profound self-awareness and strengthened our team dynamics in ways I didn’t think possible. It’s one of the best team coaching approaches I’ve encountered, and I highly recommend Faye to any organisation looking to elevate their people and leaders."

Hazel:

I recently had an opportunity to join a team building event with Faye at the stables. Initially I joined it mostly just for the social aspect but I got so much more out of it than just having a laugh with my networking group.

I knew I had a small fear of horses so when I had to confront them head on - literally stand right in front of them - it was nerve-racking! But without Faye even having to say anything to us, as a team we handled that horse like pros, each learning how we work together as a team, and amazingly everyone working together to help me with my fear!

Faye and her horses taught me something that day that I didn't even realise I needed to learn... and the best thing was that it didn't involve being sat in a life coach's 'office' to do so, or having someone preach at you what you should be doing.

Faye's approach with the horses is mind-blowing how she helps bring people together without even having to talk to us :)

Bianca:

Working with Faye and her remarkable approach to personal and team development has been nothing short of transformation. Her unique blend of equine-assisted coaching and personal growth exercises creates an environment where you not only connect with others but also discover profound truths about yourself.

During our team-building session, we were challenged to lead a horse through a series of tasks—without uttering a single word. It was incredible to witness how this silent collaboration revealed the natural dynamics within our team, shedding light on who steps up to lead, who provides support, and how we can work harmoniously toward a common goal.

One of the most powerful moments came from an activity that challenged us to reflect on ourselves in a profound and unexpected way. It opened our eyes to our untapped potential, our self-worth, and the truths we often overlook in our daily lives. The impact was deeply personal and incredibly moving, leaving each of us with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose.

Faye doesn’t just teach you how to lead or work as a team; she helps you uncover inner peace, self-acceptance, and clarity about who you are. Her methods are unconventional but profoundly effective, and the lessons learned stay with you long after the session ends.

If you’re ready to find yourself, unlock your true potential, and foster meaningful connections—whether personally or professionally, Faye is the guide you’ve been looking for.

I felt I was stuck with too many emotional hang-ups that were stopping me from getting ahead and finding where I belong.

I was hoping to get the tools to help me overcome the barriers holding me back.

I was depressed as if my soul was being destroyed. I was bored, frustrated and angry all the time.

The tools given to me really helped me assess situations and perceive them differently.  I started to not take everything so personally and was able to see where things were coming from.  Changed my perspective!

I would do it again because it is something one should do regularly as life continues to throw curve balls and one needs to be reminded how to deal with the changes.

I would definitely recommend it.

Who does not have emotional issues right? That being said - so did I, but what to do about them? Conventional therapy was just not doing the trick. Luckily, I found a flyer with Faye’s details and I was intrigued.

Faye and Blazer are a brilliant team and so easy to work with, once you know how it works that is. I loved every moment of it and I would recommend it to anybody. You feel drained and tired after the therapy, but it is a good tired, and keep to Faye's rule: relax and recoup after a session. I have referred other people and I would definitely go back for more myself.

I had a lot of issues to deal with when I met Faye for the first time. We had a lovely coffee / introduction meeting and we just clicked. Faye is very accommodating, she comes to you, and you can even work with you own horse if you have one. It is so easy to relate to her. She is a normal woman with normal feelings and problems. I preferred for our session to be away from home; thus I met Blazer. What an animal, for me it was love at first sight. My biggest problem /issue was the feeling of being ignored, being invisible. Low self-esteem. Try getting a horse to work with your whist feeling like that. Blazer was standing very patiently waiting for me to tell him what to do. I had no idea what I wanted him to do either.... and I was not as patient. This is where Faye comes in and you start to understand why she is being called a coach.

There is no right or wrong, no judgment and no criticism. Just caring and healing. Blazer is a normal horse, but I think his soul just resonated with mine. Faye taught me to increase my energy, and I could get Blazer to work with me, but not just that, I could get other people to acknowledge me as well, without aggression. I dealt with fears and hurts that I was not even aware of. Mission accomplished.

Now hubby and me. The BIG problem in most marriages - effective communication. Faye and Blazer can only be effective if you are open to alternative treatment methods. She guides you in the right direction and Blazer reflects your feelings, it is incredible. I have seen my husband cry tears by just being held, no punching, no hurry, just available to take your hurt on him, and with this you get fixed up and stitched up on your inside as well. Working with n majestic animal like Blazer is a honour. Just being able to hold onto him or to get him to run with you gives you a sense of achievement. Working with Faye is like gaining a 'forever' friend with benefits.

Everybody should try this at least once, it is beneficial to your health....

With love and respect

Karen - Faye helps people, be it, individuals or groups, to find themselves and they can reflect on what they can do to be better or find inner peace, with the aid of horses.

Ernst Kruger Testimonial to Faye:

I would like to say if you have not yet used Faye's services and still seem a bit lost, just a conversation with her will put you at ease. And as for having a session with her, I am going to have another one. She helped me to find what I was putting on hold, why I did so, and how not to do so.

Just a massive Thanks to Faye for giving me a push so that I can take the first step towards my goals.

Sometimes you don’t know that your child is struggling at all. Sometimes you look at them in wonderment wishing you could be just like them because they’re so self-assured and really appear to have their lives together.

Then you get a phone call that changes everything and you realise you don’t know anything about your child at all. It was all a facade and she’s been waging a war within herself daily for years, until she reached breaking point and her body couldn’t keep up with the demons in her head anymore.

But, thanks to people like Faye Goodwin, there’s help and neither your child nor your family have to go through it alone. You find that little light at the end of the tunnel and slowly, but surely, things start getting better. So much so that you see brilliance radiating from your child once again and her dreams start coming true.

Ashlynne Hattingh achieved an average of 81% for the first term, is a top 10 matric student, has entered the Miss Monnas pageant and is completing her extremely work intensive university application for next year. I can’t see how she can won’t be chosen as one of the 75 students for the course with the results she’s achieved and her incredible portfolio of work. Her progress over the past 12 months has been nothing short of extraordinary.

She will always battle her demons, but she is now equipped with the skills necessary to face them head on.

I don’t have adequate words to express my gratitude to Faye. We have our child back thanks to you. We simply cannot put a price on that.

Faye Goodwin Life Coach has been a miracle worker for my family. My daughter was diagnosed with a conversion disorder last year. She spent a month in Crescent Clinic and lockdown just made everything worse. She wasn’t able to complete her matric year and I was at the end of my tether. Then we found Faye. My daughter has been seeing her since September last year. What a difference it’s made. She went back to school this year to finish her matric and is already on the top 10 achievers. She’s even preparing to go to varsity next year. I honestly believe that Faye saved my child’s life and I cannot recommend her enough. She is marvellous

Faye is an exceptional coach! Highly recommend. For me, experiencing Faye's expertise as I interfaced with the divine, sweetheart of a horse I chose (or did he choose me?) was magical, precious and transformational. Helped me so much. Was like a holiday.... the venue is close to Jozi, but in heavenly countryside.
